"What we have here is a failure to communicate."

The other day, I was listening to the weather report on the radio. When the announcer said, "Expect sprinkles at the end of the week," I thought, "Mmmmm...sprinkles," and pictured cupcakes.

I Netflixed "The Hustler" and "Cool Hand Luke" as Paul Newman memorial film festival. Frankly, I wasn't particularly whelmed by either movie. But PN certainly was a handsome man.

I did a paper on "Cool Hand Luke" in high school. Somehow I was able to compare it to the life of Jesus. Now when I see it on TV, I can't figure out how I came up with that. I got an A.

My favorite old-time PN movie is "The Long Hot Summer". He is verrrrry nice in that one.

The Jesus analogy is difficult to really carry out, but they do try hard in the movie to get you to think that way.

You're an excellent writer, so I am not surprised you got an A. What class was that in? I didn't take any classes that were like that.

I think it was some kind of advanced English class. I can't remember my teacher's name. Miss Something. She was young and hip.
