How to Teach Your Child to Ski, Viking Style

Grab them under your arm and fly down the mountain. You can see a photo of the entire sculpture here. I was more interested in trying to get the expressions on their faces--the determination of the father and the distress of the baby.

Heard In Passing

She's a Mexican Cougar! That makes her a puma!
"With hair like that, how could she be anything but a nerd?"
Me, psyching myself up for something: Eye of the tiger! Eye of the tiger!" Rowdy: Pfft! That's only 1% of the tiger!"
Father to Son, playing chess: Winning was what I was doing when you thought I was losing!"
Tri-teamate JC, when asked how he slept last night, "I took naps between worrying."
You don't understand how complicated funemployment is. It's a logistical nightmare!
"We like to party, and when we party, we shoot each other!"
(Just barely) three-year-old B-rock, putting on his baseball mitt: Oh! I put on my baseball puppet!"
Neighbor kid (all sad): The Easter Bunny doesn't ever come to my house." Rowdy: That's because you're Jewish." Kid: But I still beilieve in bunnies!"
"Brock, what does the shark say?" Brock makes CHOMP noise.
